Do You Ship Your Delicious Baked Goods?

Yes! We ship via USPS priority mail within the Continental United Stated through our online store, shipping costs will be calculated on checkout. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship baked goods Internationally due to customs restrictions. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@sansbakery-nyc.com

Where Is Sans Bakery Located? I Need A Cookie, STAT!

Right now, most of our goodies are sold through our online store or at local coffee shops, cafes, grocery stores and other places where the cool kids hang out. Refer to our our retailers page for a list of locations near you.

Is Your Baking Facility Gluten Free?

Although the commercial kitchen we use is not a strictly gluten free facility, Sans takes the utmost care and goes the extra mile to make sure that our products do not become contaminated. This includes extra sterilization of every tool, work surface and oven we use. The space in which we work is also isolated from the rest of the kitchens. The facility is used by many gluten free food companies and is inspected regularly by the state and is recognized as a gluten free-friendly facility.

How Long Do Your Baked Goods Last?

Because we don’t use any preservatives or stabilizers, we recommend eating our goodies within a few days.

Biscotti will last up to one week kept in an airtight container at room temperature.

Cookies, brownies and muffins can be kept in an airtight container and left at room temperature for a day or so. Whatever is left after that can be placed in an airtight container/ bag in the fridge an eaten within a week. Warming them up again in the oven is divine!

Bread and bagels are best if eaten the day you receive them. You can keep the bread/bagels in a paper bag at room temperature for a day or two; toasting them should liven them right back up.

ALL of our goods can also be frozen! If you’d like, upon receiving your order, you can place it in an airtight zipper bag and stick it in the freezer. When you’re ready to eat it, put it in the fridge to defrost. Once it is soft to the touch again, bring it back up to room temperature on the counter. Then a quick trip to the oven or toaster should do the trick!

Do You Do Special Orders? I’d Love A Tasty Cake For My Birthday.

Yes, we would be happy to! Your special order must be finalized and placed at least one week prior to the delivery date, so please plan ahead. Contact info@sansbakery-nyc.com to talk to us about what you would like and pricing. Large orders of our regular offerings, cakes, cupcakes, pies, pastries, custom platters for catering - we’re open to anything. Some of our goods can also be modified (for an additional fee) to account for other dietary restrictions; we will work with you to make you something you can enjoy!

How Do I Get My Local Coffee Shop To Carry Sans Baked Goods?

What Kind Of Ingredients Do You Use?

Sans always tries to use the best ingredients we can get our doughy hands on, because we believe that you get out of a product what you put into it. All of our flours come from Bob’s Red Mill, which produces some of the best flours out there today, especially in the gluten free market. They have facilities dedicated solely to gluten free flours to avoid cross contamination, and take special care in the quality of their products. We source our butter and eggs locally, and our chocolate, while not organic, is of the highest quality and made without any preservatives and uses a non-GMO soy lecithin— the only place in our ingredients where soy is used.

Do You Account For Other Allergies In Your Baking?

All of our products are absolutely gluten free, but may contain other allergens such as casein and nuts. While we do not directly use soy products, our baked goods may contain soy lecithin through our chocolate. The complete ingredient list for each baked good is available on the website so you can make sure that you are choosing a product that is safe for you to enjoy.
